Shrimp Creole - Low-Fat - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. cooked shrimp
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. green pepper, sliced thin
1/2 c. celery, sliced thin
2 c. nonfat spaghetti sauce
1 Tbsp. vinegar
sweetener (equivalent to 1 Tbsp. sugar)
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 small bay leaf
Preparation

Coat a large saucepan with pan spray.
Saute onions, green pepper and celery until tender.
Stir frequently and add a small amount of water, if necessary, to prevent drying.
Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp.
Heat until sauce just starts to boil. Remove and discard bay leaf.
Reduce heat.
Add shrimp and heat through.
Serve over rice.
Makes 4 servings.
