Venison Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. venison round steak
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 onion, sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. bouillon
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Remove fat from meat and cut into strips 1/4 inch wide and 1 1/2 inches long. Brown meat in 3 tablespoons butter; add onion, salt and pepper in pan or heavy skillet. Add bouillon; simmer 1 1/2 hours until tender. Saute mushrooms in rest of butter until lightly browned. Add flour and add to liquid in meat pan, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add mustard and sour cream to pan; mix well and heat to boiling and pour over bed of rice.
