Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. squash, cooked and mashed
    1/2 c. flour
    hot oil
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except oil.
    Mix well.
    Drop by tablespoons into 1/8-inch of hot oil.
    Flatten patties to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cook until golden brown.
