Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. hot water

Preparation

Put all ingredients except water in a bowl.
Mix two minutes. Add hot water and beat two minutes more.
Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Or pour into 2 (9-inch) cake pans; bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
