Clam Chowder Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. finely chopped celery
1 c. finely chopped potatoes
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
4 c. milk
2 (7 oz.) cans clams, drained
Preparation

Simmer onion, celery and potatoes in small amount of water in a large saucepan until tender.
Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat.
Blend in flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
Stir in milk gradually.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Stir in vegetable mixture.
Add clams.
Cook over low heat until heated through.
