Hostess Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon
    1/4 c. minced onion
    3 c. frozen LeSueur peas, cooked
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/4 c. shredded lettuce
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dice bacon and saute until crisp.
    Remove bacon from skillet. Saute onion in the bacon grease.
    Remove onion from skillet.
    Put peas, butter, water and lettuce in skillet and cook until lettuce is wilted.
    Add bacon and onion.
    Heat through and serve.
