Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. broccoli in 1-inch flowerets
    1 c. broccoli stems, peeled and sliced
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    4 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    salt
    sesame seed (optional)
Preparation
    Blanch flowerets and stems 2 minutes and drain.
    Mix broccoli, cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, beaten egg yolks, butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg thoroughly.
    Fold in beaten whites.
    Pour in lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with seeds if desired.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes until set at 350\u00b0.
    Cooks like a souffle but does not fall; remains like a quiche filling.
    Freezes very well.
