Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 sliced potatoes
    1/2 c. sliced carrots
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 small onion, sliced
    salt and pepper
    6 slices crisp fried bacon
    1 qt. milk (about)
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Boil potatoes, carrots, celery and onion in water until tender.
    Add salt, pepper, bacon, milk and butter.
    Bring to boil.
