Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. bananas (2 or 3)
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs; beat well. Stir in bananas; mix well.
    Add the dry ingredients alternating with the buttermilk.
    Stir in nuts.
    Turn into well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
