Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 egg
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add brown sugar; stir until well blended; cool. Add egg and mix well.
Stir in dry ingredients; add vanilla and nuts.
Spread in well-buttered 8-inch square pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
Cool; cut in squares.
Makes 16.
