Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. flour
    2/3 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. dates, finely chopped
Preparation
    Beat eggs until thick.
    Add sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.
    Add nuts and dates.
    Bake in an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan at 250\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cut into small squares while still warm.
    Shape squares into balls or roll in powdered sugar or coconut.
