Cheese Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. rice
1 c. peas
4 c. water
1 bell pepper, sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1/2 tsp. cumin seed
1 bay leaf
2 cloves
1/2 tsp. coriander powder
3 c. shredded cheese
5 Tbsp. melted unsalted butter
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
-
In pan, add butter.
When butter is hot, add cloves, cumin and bay leaf.
When bay leaf turns brown, add peas and coriander powder.
Add washed and drained rice.
Stir well.
Add salt and water.
When water starts to boil, cover with lid to simmer and cook rice.
