*Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    Syrup
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Stir in cinnamon, flour and baking powder.
    Stir in walnuts. Turn batter into a greased 10 x 14 x 2-inch pan. Bake in a hot 400\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes until cake tests done. Remove from oven and while hot, pour cool Syrup over it. Cut into diamond shape.
