Zucchini Flan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    6 firm zucchini
    1 c. heavy cream
    2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    salt and fresh ground pepper
    1/4 c. grated mild cheese (Swiss or Gruyere)
Preparation
    Melt butter in large skillet; add onion.
    Cook, stirring until onion is wilted.
    Trim and discard ends of zucchini; slice into thin rounds and add to skillet.
    Cook briefly; stir.
    Spoon mixture into buttered casserole.
    Blend cream, egg yolks, egg and nutmeg.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour mixture over zucchini.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until custard is lightly set.
    Serves 6 to 8.
