Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 c. chopped peanuts (optional)
    1/2 c. butter, sliced thin
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan. Dump undrained pineapple in pan and spread evenly. Dump pie filling on top of pineapple and spread evenly. Dump dry cake mix on top of pie filling and spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts (if desired) over the top.
    Place slices of butter over top of cake. Bake 48 to 53 minutes.
    Serves 24.
