Norwegian Gold Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 room temperature eggs
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Mix flour and shortening at low speed.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time. Mix well. Sift sugar, salt and baking powder.
    Add to cream mixture.
    Beat well.
    Add almond flavoring and beat for 2 minutes at low speed.
    Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0 in a lightly greased and floured Bundt pan.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled.
