Peppercorn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cornmeal
    2 tins cream-style corn
    4 large eggs
    1 1/2 tins evaporated milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. slat
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 lb. grated cheese
    onions, chives, sweet peppers, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
    Now make a well and pour in cream-style corn, evaporated milk and egg in that order, then mix together.
    Pour into greased baking dish 1/2 of the mixture (9 x 12-inches).
    Place enough cheese over entire mixture, then scatter onions, chives and sweet peppers over the cheese. Pour in the remaining mixture, then repeat procedure with cheese, onions, chives and peppers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
