Crisp Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    4 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Sift corn meal.
    Add salt and soda; mix.
    Add oil; stir.
    Add buttermilk and syrup; stir well.
    Fill thoroughly greased iron corn stick pans; bake at 400\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Makes 9 sticks.
    Easy to add to for large family.
