Mama'S Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. white sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
peanut butter

Preparation

Cook syrup, sugar and water until it makes a hard ball. Pour over egg whites that have been stiffly beaten.
Beat this mixture until stiff
enough
to
spread on buttered wax paper. Spread peanut butter on
top
of
mixture\tand
roll up like a jelly roll.
Wrap
wax
paper
around roll and cool completely before cutting into slices.
