Ingredients

1 gal. apple cider
3/4 c. brown sugar
4 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp. allspice
12 whole cloves
Preparation

Put cider in pan.
Add sugar and cinnamon sticks; stir.
Put other spices in cheesecloth and tie securely.
Add to cider mixture.
Heat on stove until hot; simmer on medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
Remove spices.
Serve hot with cinnamon stick.
