Basic Cream Sauce(Fat-Free) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. skim milk
2 Tbsp. sherry
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
dash of nutmeg
2 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

In medium-size saucepan over medium heat, bring milk, wine, pepper and nutmeg to a simmer, stirring to prevent scorching. Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
Makes 2 cups.
