Chicken A La King(A Dish Truly Fit For A King!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms or 1/4 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. Chicken Broth, thawed
    2 c. Chicken Mix, thawed
    1 c milk
    1/4 c. chopped pimiento, if desired
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    cooked rice
    slivered almonds, for garnish
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet.
    Add celery and mushrooms.
    Saute until tender.
    Blend in flour and let simmer 1 minute.
    Slowly add Chicken Broth. Cook about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly until thick.
    Add Chicken Mix, milk and pimiento, if desired, and parsley flakes.
    Simmer 10 minutes. Serve over hot cooked rice.
    Garnish with slivered almonds.
    Makes 6 servings.
