Layered Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. celery, diced
    4 hard-boiled eggs, diced
    10 oz. frozen peas (raw)
    1 medium sweet onion, diced
    8 slices bacon, fried, drained and diced
    2 c. Miracle Whip
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Tear lettuce and spread on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Layer rest of ingredients in order given.
    Add sugar to Miracle Whip and pour over top.
    Top with cheese.
    Cover well and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours or longer before serving.
    Can garnish with parsley.
