Mother'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar and shortening.
    Add the egg and molasses.
    Mix together the flour, soda, salt, ginger and cinnamon and add to the shortening mixture. Pour into a greased and floured 8 or 9 inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25-30 minutes.
