Old Fashioned Raisin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box seeded raisins
1 box seedless raisins
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla
9 eggs
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter well.
Add eggs one at a time.
Sift flour; save 1/2 cup to dredge raisins.
Add flavoring and fold in flour.
Add raisins to batter and mix well.
Line a tube pan with wax paper.
Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Bake one hour at 300\u00b0; lower heat to 250\u00b0 and bake 2 hours longer.
Remove from oven; leave in pan 10 minutes before removal.
