Natchitoches Meat Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. ground lamb
vinegar to taste
1/4 c. pine nuts
1/2 c. chopped onion
butter
salt and pepper
Preparation

Fry meat in butter until done.
Add onion and pine nuts and continue frying until onion is transparent.
Add vinegar until slightly sour.
Add salt and pepper.
Let completely cool.
Put about 1 teaspoon of filling in center of dough and bring edges to center.
Brush with melted butter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden. Serve slightly warm.
Yields 30 to 40.
