Oatmeal Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. stirred all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/3 c. corn oil
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. raisins or nuts
Preparation
    In a medium bowl with a wooden spoon, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
    Add brown sugar with the back of spoon.
    Stir until all lumps are tiny.
    Stir in oats.
    Make a well in the center.
    Add corn oil, unbeaten eggs, water, vanilla and raisins.
    Stir vigorously until the dry ingredients are moistened.
    Drop by level tablespoons 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until lightly browned, about 13 to 15 minutes.
    With a wide spatula, remove at once to wire racks to cool.
    Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
    Recipe may be doubled.
