Beer Batter Fried Chicken(Serves 4) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. chicken pieces
2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/3 c. beer
1/2 tsp. baking powder
salad oil
Preparation

In a bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder.
In separate bowl beat together beer, egg and 2 teaspoons salad oil; stir into flour mixture.
Coat half of chicken with batter.
Meanwhile, in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, heat 1/2 inch salad oil to 370\u00b0 (frying temperature).
Fry chicken until brown and tender, approximately 20 minutes, turning once with tongs.
Drain on paper towels or brown bag.
Repeat with remaining chicken.
