Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    7 ripe bananas
Preparation
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Makes 2 (1 pound 4 ounce) loaves.
    I add a handful of pecans and raisins (if you have).
