Aunt Myrtle'S Goodies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 caramels
    5 t. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 c. oatmeal
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 t. baking soda
    1/4 t. salt
    3/4 c. butter
    16 oz. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/4 c. coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Melt the caramels with the milk and set aside. Combine the flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, baking soda and salt. Melt the butter and pour over the flour mixture, mixing well. Divide in half, and spread half the dough in the bottom of a 9 x 9-inch cake pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10-15 minutes.
