Spinach Mushroom Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, finely chopped
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    4 eggs
    2 pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
    1/4 c. packaged bread crumbs
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cook onions and mushrooms in butter in a large skillet until soft.
    Beat eggs until frothy.
    Stir in cooled onions and mushrooms, spinach, bread crumbs, soup, 2 tablespoons cheese and spices until well combined.
    Spread mixture in a buttered casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yields 6 servings.
