Date Pecan Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft oleo
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. ground pecans
    1 c. dates, cut up
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Add flour and mix.
    Mix in pecans and dates.
    Roll teaspoonfuls of dough in balls.
    Refrigerate balls for 1 to 2 hours.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 on greased cookie sheet for 20 minutes.
    Remove from oven and roll balls in powdered sugar.
    Sprinkle them again with powdered sugar when cookies have cooled.
