Sweet And Sour Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, sliced
    1 medium green pepper, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks in juice
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Cook carrots, covered, in small amount slightly salted water, about 15 minutes.
    Add green pepper, cover and cook 3 minutes more.
    Drain pineapple; save juice.
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; stir in reserved juice, vinegar and soy sauce.
    Cook and stir until bubbly.
    Stir in vegetables and pineapple; heat thoroughly.
