Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (16 oz.) jar red or green chili salsa
    pepper to taste
    12 corn tortillas
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. tomatoes, chopped
Preparation
    Brown meat; add onion and garlic.
    Add salsa and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.
    Tear tortillas into bite size pieces.
    In buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, layer half of the tortillas, half of the meat and half of the cheese; repeat.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Garnish rim with chopped tomatoes and 3 dollops of sour cream down the center.
