Cheese Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 potatoes
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/3 c. chopped green onion
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with jackets on.
    Cool, peel and grate.
    Melt butter and mix with soup; mix all ingredients except potatoes.
    Mix well.
    Add potatoes and mix again.
    Bake in a 3-quart casserole 1 hour at 350\u00b0, uncovered.
