German Bacon Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2/3 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. shredded cabbage
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1/4 c. minced green pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp.
Dice or crumble bacon and reserve 2 tablespoons drippings.
Combine drippings with vinegar, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
Toss cabbage with onion, green pepper and celery.
Add dressing just before serving.
Garnish with bacon bits.
Serves 6.
