Indian Candy Was-Nah - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal (baked until lightly brown in 225~ oven)
    1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter, room temperature
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. chopped Bing cherries
Preparation
    Mix well, refrigerate 1 hour.
    Roll into small balls and serve or store in refrigerator.
