Lebkuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cake flour
    1 lb. honey
    1/2 lb. sugar
    1/4 lb. brown sugar
    3 well beaten eggs
    1 lb. orange peel, chopped
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 lb. flour
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    2 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1/2 lb. citron, chopped fine
    1/4 lb. lemon peel, chopped
    1 tsp. baking powder
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. brandy
Preparation
    Mix together the honey with 1/4 pound sugar.
    Boil, skim and cool.
    Then add sifted cake flour.
    In separate pan, mix the brown sugar and 1/4 pound white sugar, eggs, spices and soda which has been dissolved in brandy, citron, orange peel, lemon peel, grated lemon rind and baking powder.
    Mix the nuts with the all-purpose flour and add to the batter.
