Oatmeal Clusters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. peanut butter
    3 c. quick oats (uncooked)
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a full boil for one minute, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla and peanut butter; stir until smooth.
    Add oats and mix well.
    Cool slightly until mixture holds shape.
    Drop by tablespoons onto wax paper or use 1 teaspoon for dipping up, then push off with a second teaspoon.
    Allow to cool, then store in a tightly covered container.
