Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. instant coffee
2 tsp. boiling water
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. margarine, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation

Microwave 6 ounces chocolate chips.
Dissolve coffee in water. Cream together sugars, butter and dissolved coffee.
Add egg and melted chocolate chips.
Gradually add flour, soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips (and nuts, if desired).
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
