Basic Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell (9-inch)
    1/2 to 1 c. meat or vegetables, chopped
    1 c. half and half or milk
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Sprinkle cheese and meat into pie shell.
    Beat the remaining ingredients.
    Pour over cheese and meat.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
