Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. defrosted hash browns
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 can cream of chicken or celery soup
1 pt. sour cream
10 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1 small can green chilies (optional)
Preparation

Saute onion in part of the butter.
Mix rest of ingredients in mixing bowl.
Add onion.
Place in casserole and bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Put corn flakes on top and drizzle rest of butter and additional cheese, if desired.
Bake 15 more minutes.
