Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh sliced peaches
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. softened margarine
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Put peaches in greased, 2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar.
    In mixing bowl, cream together margarine and sugar.
    Stir in flour.
    Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
    Spoon mixture over peaches.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until brown.
    Makes 6 servings.
