Banana Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk.
    Mix rest of ingredients and bake in a 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch square pan in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Frost with your favorite frosting.
