"Mock" Kentucky Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. Italian dressing mix
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter (room temperature)
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. pancake mix
1/2 tsp. sage
1 c. milk
oil (for frying)
Preparation

Wipe chicken dry. Combine dressing, flour, lemon juice, salt and butter into paste and coat chicken evenly. Stack pieces in bowl and cover to marinate.
Combine pancake mix with spices. Dip chicken pieces into milk, then into pancake mix. Dust off excess. Heat oil and fry until brown.
Place in shallow pan and put remaining milk over.
Seal with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0. Baste again with milk during the last 10 minutes.
