Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. bran in 2 c. hot water (let cool)
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 c. white sugar
    4 c. Post Bran Flakes
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. Crisco oil
    5 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. raisins, dates or prunes, cooked in water and cool
Preparation
    Stir all the ingredients together.
    Let set in fridge for 24 hours.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Will keep in fridge for 5 to 6 weeks.
