Aunt Sammies' Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    6 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    16 pecan halves
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar together.
    Add syrup, salt, vanilla, pecans and butter; pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake until filling is set.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 320\u00b0.
    Put the pecan halves on top of pie.
