Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 1/2 c. sugar (3/4 c. white and 3/4 c. brown)
    2 eggs
    1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail (undrained)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. oil (Wesson or Crisco)
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except 1/2 cup brown sugar and coconut. Put in an 8-inch round greased and floured cake pan or smaller. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of brown sugar and coconut over top.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in preheated oven at 350\u00b0.
    Frost while warm.
