Apple Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. light brown sugar
2 c. oats
3 c. plus 6 Tbsp. flour
2 c. shortening
6 c. apples, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
ice cream
Preparation

Preheat
oven to 375\u00b0.\tCombine brown sugar, oats and 3 cups of\tflour.\tWith
fingertips,
work
in
the shortening. Press half
the
mixture\tinto
bottom
of a well greased 10 x 15-inch roasting or baking pan.
Combine apples with remaining flour, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and the sugar; spread on top of the
oat mixture.
Add
and press down remaining oat mixture. Sprinkle with
remaining
cinnamon and bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
Serve with ice cream.
