Beer Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 (16 oz.) can beer (12 oz. if at sea level)
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl.
    Stir until it makes a batter.
    Pour into loaf pan.
    Dot top with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve hot or cold.
